GUIDE TO GROUP RIDING

Ladies Cycling

We have a growing number of women cyclists and encourage them to be involved in all areas of the club.

Where appropriate we provide coaching and group rides for newer women cyclists.

We also organize an annual women’s only cyclo-sportive in aid of the Foyle Hospice.

Inishowen 100

The Inishowen 100 sportive ( i100 and i100k routes ) is the Club’s blue ribbon event run in August each year.

This event continues to increase in numbers, attracting cyclists wishing to tackle some of the toughest hills in the area. It’s not getting any easier!

Cycling isn’t a game, it’s a sport. Tough, hard and unpitying, and it requires great sacrifices. One plays football, or tennis, or hockey. One doesn’t play at cycling.
