FCC’s vision is to be the premier cycling club in the north west with an emphasis on fun and a focus on all levels of participation in leisure, racing, sportive, and mountain biking events.
- We meet at the Templemore sports complex, Buncrana Road, Derry at 0900 each Saturday and Sunday. All are welcome to our club runs.
If you are new to cycling please consider starting with a Saturday outing as it is more geared to newcomers or those making a return after a layoff. Most of our riders use a good road bike. For a Saturday ride in winter dress warmly in layers. Bring a full water bottle in your bottle cage. Wear a helmet. Bring a banana or a granola bar. Carry a pump, a spare tube and some tyre levers.
Mountain bike sessions are also held on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. and also at 6.30 p.m. from Sainsburys. All are welcome.
Circuit training will resume at Energie gym on Thursdays at 8 p.m. in September. Watch for details.
Spin classes will also resume in September on a nite to be determined.
Entry is now open for our flagship event, the Inishowen 100. Click on the link on this page to enter on-line.
Volunteers are needed to help run this event, please!
