Note that FCC’s  Sprocket Rocket program is now on hold until the new year.

Next up for  FCC  is the club AGM which is being held on Wednesday  November 25 at 7.30p.m. in Da Vinci’s hotel. All club members are asked to support this important event.

FCC’s  vision is to be the premier cycling club in the north west with an emphasis on inclusivity, fun and a focus on all levels of participation in leisure, racing, sportive, and mountain biking events. The club welcomes women, men, and young people to its ranks.

The club is organizing round 8 of the Ulster cyclo cross league on Sunday November 29 in St Columb’s Park at 0930. Please read the attached post for details. Volunteers are needed to help.

Regular runs continue on Saturday’s and Sunday’s at 0900 from the Sports Complex, Buncrana Road, Derry. All(even relative beginners) are welcome. Please join a group appropriate to your fitness and desire. Please ride a mechanically sound road bike, wear appropriate warm/bright clothing, bring water bottle, spare tube, tyre levers, a pump and something to eat. (Basic level of fitness is useful and means you are well capable of cycling 35 to 40miles.) If new it is best to start with a Saturday run and work up to a Sunday ride.

You will be welcomed by the most friendly club in the NW of Ireland!

Please email :  or if you need more info.

Please note registration with our club is now due and is expected after 2 introductory rides.

To all involved in the organisation and marshalling and foodstops on the 2013 Inishowen a great big thanks from your favourite overweight foul and loudmouthed cycling buddy from County Down.

Fantastic set up as always and the weather was kind also.

Some majestic rugged scenery around Malin Head and Kinnego made the pain worthwhile. That and the abuse from hecklers on the roadside and in cars passing by.You know who you are Donnelly

Really glad I was able to participate.

Missed Fergal McGeady grinning as he directed everyone down in Kinnego this year. That was always his favourite spot.
